Our current facility houses four girls and their babies as well as a kitchen, common area, house parent suite, counseling room, storage, office space and a classroom. In the near future, we will be opening an addition which includes four more resident rooms, house parent suite, and a day care. This will allow us to double our capacity.
Today, Hannah’s Home turns away between 15 and 20 women a month due to lack of available space.
To expand our facilities to house over 20 pregnant women and their babies at one time.
To expand the reach of our mission of providing for these young ladies with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
To accomplish Our Vision, the expansion of our three acre property is divided into three phases:
Phase One (projected completion midsummer 2017)
The first phase of expansion includes building a childcare center and adding an additional four bedrooms onto our current building to double our capacity. The childcare center will allow us to provide free childcare assistance to the young ladies that are working and in school.
The second phase includes building a chapel and four graduate cottages designed as duplexes, which will allow graduate level residents more independence as they transition back into the community.
The third and final phase of expansion will consist of building a residential dormitory which will allow us to house up to 16 young ladies and their babies. A care taker’s residence will also be built which will provide housing for the increased amount of staff needed.
Please consider donating now if you would like to help Hannah’s Home reach more young, pregnant women throughout South Florida.
