About Carol

Carol founded the first Hannah’s Home in Mentor, Ohio in 2001. She then moved to Tequesta, Florida where started Hannah's Home of South Florida. Carol has played an invaluable role in this ministry and our community.

About Jon

Jon has supported our mission and served as Chairman of the Board since 2005. He brings decades of experience as an architect and is currently a Partner at Spalding + Olson Design Group LLC in Jupiter, Florida.

About Michael

Michael has served as our Board Treasurer since Hannah's Home's inception in 2002. He is originally from Tennessee and is passionate about helping vulnerable populations. Michael is currently the CFO at Goodmark PLC.

About Jennifer

Jennifer joined the Board of Directors as a Member in 2013. Shortly after, she founded JMorton Planning & Landscape Architecture following a successful 22-year career in land planning and landscape architecture.

About Michael

Michael joined the board with extensive experience as a lawyer in commercial litigation, general liability and trucking and transportation. He was raised in South Florida and is currently a Managing Partner at Hale & Hodges Law.

Shawn has been a member of our team since 2020. As managing partner of Global Trust Wealth, he provides families with investment management and financial planning both locally and nationally.

Nick currently serves as president of the U.S. Immigration Fund, Allied Capital and Development, and founder of the Mastroianni Family Foundation. He is passionate about helping families and nurturing a legacy of philanthropy for generations to come.

About Pastor Paul

Pastor Paul has been married to our Founder, Carol, for 62 years! He served over two decades as Senior Pastor at Tequesta's First Baptist Church and is currently the Chaplain at the Village of Tequesta,.

About Tom

Tom is from Covina, California, has two daughters, and established careers in the mortgage and education fields. He shares his gifts in music by leading worship at Calvary Chapel and monthly worship services at Hannah's Home.

Karen Hilo

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Karen has a passion for helping ambitious leaders achieve excellence. She formerly served as an executive business consultant with Sea Level Consulting LLC, Chief Operating, Chief Financial, and Chief Development Officer, and CEO of other nonprofits and private organizations. Karen earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware and her Master of Business Administration at Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBAU). She has also served on PBAU’s alumni board of directors.
