We are always in need of volunteer childcare providers who will work 2-4 hours per week to watch over our residents, feed meals, change diapers, assist play and nap time. Our volunteer schedule has three shifts daily Monday through Friday: 9:00 am – noon; noon – 2:00 pm, and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Friday until 3:00 pm). Please note that childcare providers are required to be fingerprinted (reimbursement available upon request) and receive a background check.
Our childcare volunteers who work 10 hours or more in the childcare center are required to:
Complete an application
Fingerprint background check (Level II)
Local background check
Sign a Mandatory Abuse Reporting statement
Have a CPR and 20 hours of training annually (we provide opportunities for this training)
